*Michael Sam is exercising for a different game as he joins “Dancing With the Stars.”
According to TMZ Sports, Sam will be the part of season 20 of the hit show, which kicks off in March.
With Sam, the first openly gay player drafted in the NFL, on board for “DWTS,” it could present a potential problem for team owners, who may wonder if Sam is more focused on dancing than football. Sam drew headlines for implying that he was cut from the NFL because he is gay. As a result, he has vowed to return to the league and stated that would take part in the first-ever veteran’s combine on March 22.
Still, the fact remains that Sam has to prove his worth. Stay tuned to see how much of a factor his “DWTS” experience will have on his overall game.
