*Missy Elliott‘s amazing Super Bowl Halftime performance garnered much praise. Her record sales increased significantly, due to her guest appearance, according to Billboard.
Industry sources confirmed Elliott’s sales increased by nearly 1000 percent for the week ending February 1, which equals to about 70,000 downloads sold.
Elliott was missing from the music industry. She’s been welcomed back with open arms after releasing her last album nearly a decade ago, “The Cookbook.”
“I cried because I’ve been thru so much but I’m still here & thru the grace of God & u the fans believing in me I love y’all,” she tweeted.
“To my peers the artist who tweeted me I love u all to your kind words keep me uplifted also! Grateful!” she added.
She continued with, “woke up this morning feeling humbled! Thankful to God I Love all y’all I truly do I’m so humbled.”
