NAACP Image Awards: ‘Black-ish,’ ‘Selma,’ ‘Scandal,’ Taraji … Big Winners

Cast of ‘Black-ish’

*If you missed it, Friday night in Pasadena the NAACP Image Awards were held on TV One and the big winner was ABC’s “Black-ish.” The comedy was best in five categories including best leads, Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross.

Additionally, Taraji P. Henson was honored with  the Entertainer of the Year Award, capping off a year for Henson that included a starring role in “No Good Deed,” for which she also took home an Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture.

Finally, Spike Lee received the NAACP President’s Award, chosen by NAACP President and CEO Cornell William Brooks.
