Ne-Yo Sues for $8 Million; Ex-Business Manager Denies Fraud Claims against Him

Ne-Yo*Ne-Yos ex-manager is blasting the singer’s $8 million lawsuit and accusations of fraud claim against him. He wants it to be dismissed.

Allegedly, Kevin Foster — along with, Vernon & Co., the consulting firm he worked for — stole money from the pop star. Ne-Yo sued his ex-business manager earlier this year.

The former business manager allegedly moved money from Ne-Yo’s accounts without permission, forged loan documents and invested in a water company with Ne-Yo’s money, according to theJasmineBRAND.com.

Instead of managing the pop star’s finances since 2005, Foster allegedly stole millions. Ne-Yo claimed he moved $4.5 million out of his bank accounts. Plus, he charged an additional $3.5 million in fees over the years. Hence, the singer sued for the $8 million.

Nevertheless, Foster said he did have control over Ne-Yo’s bank accounts, but he didn’t commit any fraud while managing his money — including no failure in paying his taxes; no signing loan documents;  or no transferring money out.
