OJ Would Prefer Denzel, Not Cuba Jr.

Well, we can’t say that we blame him. We’d want Denzel, too.

We’re talking about OJ Simpson and his reaction to learning that Cuba Gooding Jr. has been chosen to play him in an upcoming TV miniseries, “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.”

According to RadarOnline, Simpson doesn’t think Gooding has enough charisma to get the job done accurately. And again, for what it’s worth, we concur.

Also, according to simpson’s friend, Norman Pardo, former NFL running back thinks Gooding is “too small for the job,” and couldn’t accurately portray a serious football player.

Washington was nice to Simpson following the “Trial of the Century,” something Pardo said Simpson appreciates and still remembers.

Simpson, who is currently serving a 33-year-prison-sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping also remembers Denzel as being nice to him following his trail for the murder of his then wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

“American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson,” is said to start production this spring.

We can only wonder what Denzel thinks.
