*Out of all the political statements made from the Oscar podium on Sunday, guess which one Sean Hannity had a problem with?
The Fox News’ host slammed John Legend for using his acceptance speech to remind everyone that the Voting Rights Act is “being compromised right now.”
Hannity said on-air that both Common and Legend just “decided to make all things political” when they accepted the Best Original Song Oscar for the “Selma” track “Glory.”
And even though Legend made no mention of voter laws during his speech, Hannity claimed that it was inappropriate for the crooner to “equate the Voting Rights Act with showing an ID to get to vote so we can keep honesty and integrity in our elections.”
Hannity went on to say: “I like John Legend as a musician, but he doesn’t know anything about politics.”
