*A geriatric version of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” is the latest viral sensation.
A group of senior citizens covered the popular song, tweaking some of the lyrics and renaming it “Oldtown Funk.” Singer Alex Boye leads the featured performers, ranging in age from 65 to 92.
“All the grandmas and Grandpas in the video did their own stunts,” reads the YouTube video’s description.
Included are Jean Elliot’s “Golden Girls,” also known as the Dancing Grandmas, who are well known in Utah for performing at basketball half-time shows, according to the description.
