*Surveillance footage will play a significant part in determining if Suge Knight‘s purposefully decided to hit and run over his friend Terry Carter with his truck, Page Six reported.
Authorities obtained video from a brawl that happened as the result of an ongoing feud between Knight and former friend/business partner Dr. Dre at Tam’s Burgers in Compton, Calif, according to TMZ.
Knight is being held on $2 million bail after being charged with the murder of Carter who he hit after severely injuring rival and actor Cle Shaheed Sloan.
Knight claimed he went to the burger spot in order to patch things up with Dre’s crew, but they attacked him. His lawyer James Blatt claimed he was running for his life.
Therefore, the video footage is key to the case against Knight and can end up exonerating or incriminating the notorious music mogul.
