*Days after his rumored relationship with 17-year-old Kylie Jenner sparked a Twitter war between Kylie’s half-sister Khloe Kardashian and Amber Rose, Tyga, 25, is speaking out, denying that he and Kylie are dating – despite their problematic age difference.
“I’m not dating Kylie,” Tyga said during a Power 105 “Breakfast Club” interview on Tuesday. “I just want to get that out the way.”
Tyga is reacting to comments made Monday by Rose, Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend, on the same radio program. Rose insisted that Tyga and Kylie are a couple: “[Kylie’s] a baby, she needs to go to bed at 7 o’clock and relax,’ Amber said. She added: “That’s ridiculous. [Tyga] should be ashamed of himself. That’s how I feel. For sure. He has a beautiful woman and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old who just turned 17.”
Addressing this on The Breakfast Club, Tyga explained, “I want to be clear to everybody that I didn’t leave my family to be with Kylie. That’s ridiculous. Me and [ex and baby mama, Blac] Chyna, we broke up almost close to a year [ago] now, because of the decision we made, and things in our relationship that weren’t going right, [we] decided to split to raise an emotionally stable kid.” Tyga described his relationship with Chyna as “great.”
As for his relationship with Kylie? Tyga said, “It’s because [of] what people make it seem… and TMZ, you gotta think, TMZ didn’t really care about me until they figured out that I live next door to Kim [Kardashian] and Kanye [West] and all that stuff. But I’ve been friends with them before I even met [Blac] Chyna. I was friends with Scott [Disick], her family for years, so me hanging out with them was nothing new. People just want to make a story out of it.”
Circling back to rumors of him dating Jenner, he calls it “crazy… the sh*t they make up is the craziest thing I ever heard of.” He did say he found Jenner to be a “beautiful young woman” whose “maturity and mentality is different than a lot of people.”
Tyga explained that he hangs out not just with Jenner, but also her 19-year-old sister Kendall and a group of friends.
Also on The Breakfast Club Tyga addressed a claim that someone called child services on him because Kylie is so young. He claimed law enforcement has not reached out to him about the possibility he has committed statutory rape.
Tyga also touched upon his feud with Drake. “It’s not really a beef. It’s just experiences that I’ve had with him, phone calls and stuff like that,” he explained. “I feel like he’s a nice guy on the outside but, he’s not genuine. He plays people left and right. That’s just my opinion and I’m entitled to have my own opinion. At the end of the day, what I said in the interview was how I felt at that moment.”
