*Will Smith returns to the big screen this month in “Focus,” playing a seasoned con-man who ends up going against the woman he once taught the game.
His character Nicky Spurgeon also had feelings for this woman, played by 24-year-old Australian actress Margot Robbie. It complicates their reunion three years later – when both are on competing sides of the same con.
With all of the deceit, duplicity and trickery going on in the plot, Smith says the biggest lesson he learned from the film is that perception is the only thing that ever really matters.
