*Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousin Jerod Brown, nephew of Bobby Brown, was arrested in Georgia on Monday (Mar. 23) for various infractions.

The Atlanta Police Department says he was pulled over after cops smelled marijuana while driving behind his vehicle. When police approached him, he said he didn’t have weed on him, but that he “just came from the studio.”

According to the police report, Jerod didn’t have his license on him either. He also claimed that his name was Jahraim Reid and he was born on Oct. 29, 1987. After an hour of investigating, authorities determined he was lying and he finally admitted his real name and correct birth date (Nov. 9, 1987).

It was further revealed that he had a warrant out for his arrest in Gwinnett County, but no further details were provided.

He was arrested for the prior warrant, driving without a license, and giving false identification to police.

All of this comes one week after Jerod released a “Pray4BK” music video tribute for Bobbi Kristina, who has remained in a medically induced coma since late January.

The 27-year-old has not seen eye to eye with his family members since Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Atlanta area home. Bobby Brown, his uncle, has slammed the young performer in various statements for speaking out about Bobbi Kristina’s condition on Facebook and other social platforms.

“Jerod Brown aka Jerod Carter aka YF Kennedy, continues to makes statements and appear on television, however, he has not had any communication with Bobby Brown or the Houston family,” Bobby Brown’s legal counsel, Christopher Brown, said in a February statement. “He must be disregarded. Please do not attend any ‘meet and greet’ organized by Jerod Brown as he is unable to provide access to Bobbi Kristina or information on her condition. This is a criminal investigation and we do not need this side show.”
