Performing live, on April 11 in LA’s Exposition Park, will be Grammy Award Winner Bobby Brown, Grammy Award Winners Salt & Pepa, Grammy Award Winner Stephanie Mills & 3 Time Grammy Nominee El Debarge.
Although the food and (the artists) is the attraction it is by no means the mission. The purpose of the Soul Food Festival is to become an information platform from which the general public can come and retrieve life changing Information as it relates to Health & Wellness, Technology, Family Intervention, Financial Literacy, Professional Career Building & Workforce development.
The festival provides complimentary vending space to those professionals who have an interest in providing complimentary service in any of these mention categories. The Festival also provides complimentary tickets to various community resource agencies with a particular focus on battered women.
The combination of music, food and information is sure to evoke a spirit of love, unity and memories that will resonate within the souls of all those whoattend. No matter the ethnicity, The Soul Food Festival is guaranteed to compel a harmonious voice of “community” throughout L.A County.
From Bid Whist to Barbeque, The Soul food Festival is a time for the soul to reminisce on the memories of the past and the promises of the future.
Adding to the soulfood aroma will be Celebrity Chefs Auntie Fee, Robert Roberts and Amadeus will provide various food demonstrations that are sure to wow all that are in attendance.
