*Reports are indicating a shooting occurred at Lil Wayne’s mansion in Miami Beach, Wednesday afternoon, according to reports.
Miami Beach Police set up a perimeter around the house, located at 94 La Gorce Circle, after receiving a 911 call from someone not on the scene indicating shots were fired. According to police, the caller expressed intention to start a firefight with officers, and that four people had already been shot.
According to TMZ, Wayne is in Miami but is not at home. Also, the incident comes 11 days after police raced to the location to check on a report of a suspicious person lurking outside the home. Police let the guy go because when they arrived he was on public property.
TMZ also reports that police believe this might be a case of “swatting,” where someone places a prank emergency call in order to prompt a full force response from cops.
SWAT team officials are on the scene and police said no entry to the home has been made yet.
