*Civil rights activist Najee Ali , executive director of Project Islamic Hope a leading Los Angeles civil rights group is calling upon the removal of the newly released single ” Bitch Better Have My Money,” performed by Hip Hop singer Rihanna,” from the playlist of Real 92.3 a new Los Angeles Hip Hop N’ R&B radio station.

“Our organization has received dozen of complaints from parents and community members concerning the unedited version of Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” being played on the airwaves by radio station Real 92.3.in Los Angeles. Our organization believes in free speech and freedom for artists to express themselves , but we also believe in corporate responsibility and that radio stations should be held accountable by community members when they play objectionable content over the airwaves that promote a negative lifestyle to our impressionable youth. Our organization is launching a “Clean the air waves” initiative were we will monitor Real 92.3 and other urban radio stations in Los Angeles that play song’s that promote misogyny, gang violence homophobia, the use of the N-word , alcohol and drug use, . We plan on meeting with radio station managers to encourage that
they only play the clean version of songs with questionable content,” stated Najee Ali of Project Isamic Hope.
