Producer Shuts Down Gayle King’s ‘Statement Necklaces’

*One person’s pile of “statement necklaces” is another person’s distraction.

“CBS This Morning” executive producer Chris Licht saw an immediate problem when host Gayle King was about to hit the air on Friday looking like Mr. T around the neck.

Gayle described her look as “a beautiful group of statement necklaces.”

This is what I wanted to wear on @cbsthismorning a beautiful group of statement necklaces before big cheese boss @chrislicht weighed in and asked “what are you doing to me ? ” what does he mean ?

Within moments, “big cheese” Licht sent in a team to de-escalate the situation – to just one necklace.

@chrislicht approved so damn boring in my opinion ! Does your boss tell you what to wear? Or make annoying suggestions ??
