*The long anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will finally happen on May 2, and Showtime has announced a premiere date for its requisite reality series that documents the weeks leading up to the main event.

The four-part “Inside Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao” will debut on April 18, but cameras will only follow Mayweather’s preparation. This is because Showtime has an exclusive deal with the boxer, while Pacquiao is exclusive to rival HBO. Only the PPV fight is being shared by both channels.

No word if HBO will produce a separate “24/7” series on Pacquiao. So far, the cable channel has not announced any supplemental programming in advance of the welterweight championship unification match.

The second and third installments of “Inside Mayweather Vs. Paquiao” will premiere April 25 and 29, respectively, and the “epilogue” will air May 9, a week after the fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
