Suge Knight Says He’s No Flight Risk; Asks to Make Bail (Watch)

Marion “Suge” Knight appears at Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center March 9, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. The hearing was scheduled to determine if the two criminal cases against Knight, one for murder and attempted murder when Knight allegedly ran over two men in a Compton parking lot after an argument and another case involving an alleged robbery and criminal threats to a photographer in Beverly Hills, should be moved to the downtown Los Angeles courthouse.

*Suge Knight ran over two men and killed one of them, but he claimed he’s not a flight risk and should be released from jail, according to TMZ.

Knight said there’s really no place he could hide. He’s being held without bail for murder and attempted murder charges, but he said he would gladly accept home detention with an electronic monitoring bracelet.

Prosecutors are worried if Knight is released from jail, he’ll strong-arm eyewitnesses to the hit-and-run since he’s known to strike fear into folks wherever he goes.

Nevertheless, Knight’s lawyer, Matthew Fletcher, argued he’s repped Mexican gang honchos who regularly put the heat to folks, and they get bail. His bail hearing is set for today.
