*“I’m thankful to be a part of it,” said Dorinda Clark-Cole, a three-time Grammy Award and six-time Stellar Award winner, about starring in the Oxygen Network reality show “Preachers of Detroit.” “They tried to bring together preachers in Detroit. They thought about me…as an evangelist in the industry for 40 years. I am the highest ranking in my local church and have a national position.”

On the Oxygen Network reality show “Preachers of Detroit” are Pastor Dorinda, Pastor David Bullock, who speaks his mind; Bishop Charles H. Ellis IIII, one of the most respected in the community who works above Bishop Noel Jones from Los Angeles; Bishop Corletta Vaughn, Pastor Tim Alden, Bishop-Elect Clarence Langston, and Pastor Don Williams Shelby, Jr. who is focused on building his Gospel label. “Preachers of Detroit” airs on Fridays at 8/7c.

“When they asked me I said, ‘Let me think about it. How are you going to do this,’” Dorinda said about when the reality show approached her. “They focus on the trials and triumphs of the city of Detroit and how our preachers balance their lives. I am a talk show host, I travel with my sisters (The Clark Sisters), and I have my radio show. That’s my part, my story.”

Dorinda Clark-Cole’s story also includes the recent release of her fifth solo album “Living It” (Light Records/eOne Music). The project’s release coincided with the launch of the “Preachers of Detroit” reality show. The first single is titled “Bless This House.”

“It happens to be one of my favorites on the album,” she said about the first single. “It’s gotten such great reviews. The writers got together and did it in three days…inspired by my testimony. The writers sat down with me and listened to my testimony and wrote these songs.”

*NBC’s Emmy Award winning “Days of Our Lives” was launched on November 8, 1965. It is a day-time drama that has become one of the longest running television programs in the world. The series was created by husband and wife team Ted Corday and Betty Corday, and it focuses on the lives of the Hortons and the Bradys. Eric Martsolf says playing his role on the series is fun because it’s a character that is unlike him.

“I play this crazy dude on ‘Days of Our Lives’ called Brady Black. It’s been my project for the last six years,” Eric said about his role playing Brady Black, the CEO of Titans. “It’s much more fun to play a trouble guy…it’s the uncertainty.”

Martsolf maybe best known for his role on NBC’s “Passions” as Ethan Winthrop (2002 – 2008). His credits also include “Smallville” and “NCIS.”

You can see the very cheerful Eric Martsolf on NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” week-days at 1 p.m. ET/PT. www.NBC.com/Days-Of_Our_Lives.
