Oprah Winfrey-and-Tyler Perry*How’s this for patting yourself on the back?

Oprah Winfrey is helping Tyler Perry pay tribute to himself and his four OWN shows with what’s being billed as a “prime-time television event.”

Perry’s “Too Darn Hot Party” will honor the creator of popular OWN shows “Love Thy Neighbor,” “For Better or Worse,” “The Haves and the Have Nots” and “If Loving You is Wrong” and the shows themselves and their casts while celebrating the success of Perry’s “historic programming partnership with Oprah Winfrey.”

“From the intense pre-event planning to candid moments with celebrity guest attendees (such as Winfrey) to a surprise performance by superstar Mary J. Blige, Perry grants OWN’s cameras unprecedented access to all of the festivities,” a press release for the broadcast stated.

Other guests slated for the show include Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson and Loretta Devine.

Perry’s “Too Darn Hot Party” is scheduled to air tomorrow, March 17 at 10/9c on OWN. To see a promo for the show, check out the video below:
