Bruce Jenner Credits Kanye with Kim K’s Acceptance of His Transition

kim-kardashian-kanye-west-bruce-jenner*Bruce Jenner has Kanye West to thank for Kim Kardashian reacting positively to his transition from a man to a woman.

Chatting with Diane Sawyer during his much-hyped 20/20 interview on Friday, the 65-year-old sports icon said his stepdaughter has been the “most accepting” of the situation after West shared a story that she later repeated to him.

“He says to Kim, ‘Look it, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful daughter in the world, and I have that,” Jenner stated about West, who is Kardashian’s husband. ” ‘But I’m nothing if I can’t be me. If I can’t be true to myself, it doesn’t mean anything.”

With her fully on board with Jenner’s transition, People.com noted how Jenner mentioned that the 34-year-old reality TV fixture/designer is making it her mission to helping him become a fashionista in his own right.

” ‘You’re representing the family,’ ” he said Kardashian told him, laughing. ” ‘You gotta look really good.’ ”

Jenner goes on to reveal Kardashian’s other sisters are dealing with his situation in their own way. Kourtney Kardashian is most concerned with helping her three children understand their grandfather’s change, he mentioned. For Khloé Kardashian, the Jenner said she is struggling after losing her father at a young age, in addition to the dissolution of her marriage to Lamar Odom.

“You would think out of all the kids, Khloé’s was the most fun, open-minded. And that’s not the case with Khloé. … She’s had the toughest time with it because she’s had a lot of losses in her life,” said Jenner, who added that Khloé has been supportive of his option to undergo sexual reassignment surgery.

“If you’re identifying as female, as Khloé would say, you gotta have the vajayjay.”
