*A court appearance for a Philadelphia man accused of fatally stabbing a member of rapper Nicki Minaj’s tour and severely wounding another has been postponed.
A judge Wednesday continued Pierce Boykin’s preliminary hearing until April 28. That’s when she is expected to determine if there’s sufficient evidence to send the case to trial.
Boykin, 31, is charged with murder in the Feb. 18 stabbing death of 29-year-old Devon Pickett outside a bar in the city’s West Oak Lane section.
Police said the fight began when a man started arguing with the victims inside the bar at about 2 a.m. and pulled a knife once they got outside.
Minaj says the crew members had arrived in Philadelphia to rehearse for Minaj’s tour.
Boykin is jailed without bail.
