*Don Lemon has a message for his haters.

The CNN anchor has put off his share of viewers. Last month, Deadspin.com listed some of his greatest hits: He asked a guest if the missing Malaysian Airlines flight 370 was sucked into a black hole. He asked another guest if black people were responsible for Justin Bieber being caught on camera saying the n-word. He asked one of Bill Cosby’s alleged victims why she didn’t just bite his penis to stop the rape. While covering protests in Ferguson he said, “Obviously, there’s a smell of marijuana.” He asked an American human rights lawyer if he supports ISIS.

At The Hollywood Reporter‘s 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media party on Wednesday night, the CNN anchor said his critics don’t phase him. In fact, he’s happy to have them weigh in.

“I’m there for the viewer. I’m not there for the critics, so let the critics be the critics,” he said. “I have your attention. I’m glad you’re watching, and I’m glad that I’m moving you in some way — that I’m stirring some sort of passion and debate. I love it.”

Lemon also gushed over Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, saying, “I think that Megyn Kelly is very powerful. I think that she’s very honest. I think that she’s very fair. I think she’s a star, and I watch her every single night.”
