*The state of Georgia has been trying to get its tax money from Nas since 2006, and has reportedly stepped up its efforts again with a fresh tax lien.

The rapper was first hit with a tax lien in 2009 for failing to pay a total of $276,439.80 in unpaid state taxes for 2006. In 2013, the Georgia Dept. of Revenue filed new legal docs to collect $1,083,435 for taxes Nas owed in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010.

Citing new docs filed in Georgia on April 3, The Jasmine Brand reports that the Dept. of Revenue has re-filed the tax lien and also found no assets to seize that belong to the rapper.

Despite the absence of property to seize, the Department will continue to pursue legal action to pay off the debt, the website reports.
