*Sometimes we really have to be careful what we ask for. Before the birth of his new son, one father joked that he hoped the kid wouldn’t inherit his nose. Nobody thought anything of the comment, and probably just laughed at it. Until little Eli Thompson was born…
And the one thing he was missing, was a nose.
“I pulled back and said, ‘Something’s wrong!,” said Brandi McGlathery, the baby’s mom. “And the doctor said, ‘No, he’s perfectly fine.’ Then I shouted, ‘He doesn’t have a nose!'”
But the senses of even an infant has a way of figuring things out, and according to McGlathery, little Eli began breathing through his mouth right away.
