*As Melanie “Mel B” Brown prepares for next month’s season premiere of “America’s Got Talent,” the former Spice Girl considers whether she and the rest of her group would’ve tried out for a talent show like AGT – had one been around when they were trying to get a record deal in the mid-90s.
“Listen, us girls were knocking on everybody’s door,” Brown told us. “So if there was a show around that we felt we had to be on, we would’ve definitely been on it. Whether we would’ve been booed or X’d is a different story, but we would’ve been standing there loud and proud.”
