*Michelle Obama and Jill Biden will appear on NBC’s “The Night Shift” next month for an episode centered on health resources for veterans, the network announced Friday.

The First and Second Ladies have used TV dramas before to promote their ongoing “Joining Forces” platform, which calls on Americans to support service members, veterans, and their families through wellness, education, and employment opportunities.

Slated to air on Monday, May 4, the episode will highlight the resources available to veterans like “Night Shift” character TC Callahan (Eoin Macken) and their families through local vet centers.

Additionally, a PSA aimed at furthering the conversation about veterans’ mental health featuring Obama, Biden and stars Macken, Jill Flint and Robert Bailey Jr. will debut on NBC.com.

Obama and Biden, along with the three stars, executive producer Gabe Sachs and director Eriq La Salle, met with staff and clients at the Silver Spring Vet Center in Silver Spring, Md., for a roundtable discussion about the issues addressed in the episode.

“The Night Shift” airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
