*A few hours after Nicki Minaj teased engagement news on Twitter Wednesday by sharing a bunch of diamond ring, yellow heart and plain diamond emojis with the words, “I’ll post it later,” the rapper revealed a real yellow diamond ring on her ring finger.
And now, E! News says it has confirmed that Minaj is indeed engaged to her man, Meek Mill.
“Both Meek and Nicki have been spending amazing quality time together lately and have gotten extremely close these past few months,” a source told E! News. “It may seem like it all is happening very quickly but Nicki and Meek are in this 100. They truly love each other.”
Meek did some teasing of his own on Monday evening, sharing a yellow heart emoji on Twitter.
E! News sought out a jeweler to weigh in on the yellow heart Mill purchased.
“This looks like a 15-carat fancy yellow heart modified brilliant cut diamond mounted in platinum with a double halo of white pavé diamonds,” said Morgan Shara of MASbisjoux jewelry. “This would retail for approximately $500,000.”
Shara added that the ring “looks like the natural fancy colored diamond trend that is continuing full steam ahead.”
