*There have been very few significant films made about Anita Hill.
But now Rick Famuyiwa is taking it on as a film for HBO called “Confirmation.”
Hill testified on Oct. 11, 1991, before a senate panel about how she claimed then Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas sexually harassed her.
Thomas denied the accusations and called it a “high-tech lynching.” Although, he was still sworn into Supreme Court on Oct. 23, 1991.
Kerry Washington is set to star in it as Hill while there’s no word yet on who will play Thomas. Nevertheless, filming will begin this summer.
