So why even go there? In Moss’ eyes, ““It just makes sense.”
“First of all the house is too big, but I want to make sure my mom is comfortable forever,” the 28-year-old “CSI: Cyber” star , formerly known as Bow Wow, told People regarding the reason he shares his Atlanta-based mansion with his mother.
Digging deeper into Moss’s motivation, you only have to look as far as the entertainer’s former mentor Jermaine Dupri, who had a similar living situation back in the day.
“I remember when I first moved to Atlanta and Jermaine Dupri had the same situation,” Moss explained. “He took part of the house and his mom had the whole rest of it. I said then that I wanted to have the same set up.”
As it stands now, Moss and Mena reside in the newly remodeled basement of the 8-bedroom mansion. While there may be grounds for the things to get complicated, Moss maintains that the space in the mansion makes the issue a very minor complication.
“It’s like I have a condo downstairs,” he stated. “I’ve had 100 people there and my mom has been asleep and has never heard the music, screaming, laughter, or drinking. I mean full-blown house parties downstairs while she is in the bed asleep. So I’m staying right here.”
“There’s times where I’ll be down there for three days and we don’t see each other so it’s like I’m out of town even when I’m here,” Moss continued. “I don’t have to get in the car and drive anywhere to see her. I just come up the stairs and say, ‘What up, Mom.’”
So what say you? Do you think Moss’ living situation is a plus or does it seem strange for him to have his mother living under the same with him and his fiancé, considering he’s an adult now?
