*Goodness, I don’t even know how to approach this story. What’s in a name? I mean, a Nashville, Tenn. social club known one day as a club for swingers (adults who can live out their sexual fantasies in a safe place without judgment) has now decided it wants to be known as a ‘church’.
Not that you need it, but you certainly have my permission to keep that jaw dropped.
Monday through Sunday The Social Club offers up an enticing array of opportunities for the folks in downtown Nashville to get their groove on.
If that’s what they want to do, of course.
But when the club decided to relocate, and ended up next to a Christian school, they had to think quick on how to get the city’s approval to stay there.
They came up with re-branding themselves. Now they call themselves a church.
And they have tenets to prove it, kind of.
