*Sometimes Americans forget how good we’ve got it. In spite of all the profiling, homicide, robbery, racism and injustice on so many levels; towards so many people, its easy to forget that we still live in the greatest country in the world. A country that people continue to risk their lives to enter.
But America is not the only country people are fleeing to.
Madrid police recently opened a suspicious suitcase and found a child hiding inside. Via the Associated Press, on Thursday a spokesman for the Civil Guard police force says an eight-year-old boy from the Ivory Coast was being smuggled across the border to the small Spanish-governed territory of Ceuta by a 19-year-old woman from Morocco.
“When they put the suitcase through the scanner, the operator noticed something strange, which seemed to be a person inside the case,” the official told AFP.
“When it was opened they found a minor, in a terrible state.”
