Cassandra Gaines Launches ‘Momma C’s Soul Food in a Jar’

*Muskogee, OK — Soul food guru and author Cassandra “Momma C” Gaines, is all about keeping soul alive with her best selling book, ‘Momma C Is Soul Food’ and now with the launch of her new products, “Momma C’s Soul Food In A Jar” at the Homeland Supermarket chain, featuring her Blackeye Pea Salsa, Mild Chow Chow, Pickled Okra, Sweet Potato Butter and Watermelon Pickles.

The initial launch took place at the Homeland Supermarket, on 2410 Chandler Road, Muskogee, Oklahoma, on May 2nd.

There will also be a display set up in front of the store, where customers can come and sample the products and also participate in a meet and greet with the one and only “Momma C,” as she does a demo of some of her most famous soul food recipes!

“This is the first time that Momma C’s Soul Food In A Jar is being sampled and made available to the public,” says Store manager Jason Fritz. “Cassandra Gaines is well known in the community as ‘Momma C!’ I’ve also known her for many years, so when she came to me and said can I get this in retail, I jumped on it!! It’s a local product and we like to see people succeed locally!! It’s also a good opportunity for my customers to sample the product and meet the person who made the product.”
