Celebrities Gather For Tribute to African-Americans in TV

Gabrielle_Union*The stars keep lining up to honor the achievements of African Americans in television.

Page Six reports that Gabrielle Union, Gladys Knight and Brandy are among those joining previously-announced attendees Oprah Winfrey, Michael Strahan, Cicely Tyson and Lee Daniels for the Paley Center for Media’s Tribute to African-American Achievements in Television black-tie gala this week.

The event, which will be held today (May 13) at Cipriani Wall Street, seven decades of African-American contributions to TV. Others expected for the gala include Deborah Roberts, Uzo Aduba and Phylicia Rashad.
