*Rapper Chinx Drugz‘s mother was photographed on Monday mourning the death of her son who was gunned down over the weekend in Queens, N.Y.
Meanwhile, investigators noticed some similarities between the death of Chinx and the unsolved murder of his friend and mentor Stack Bundles, who had ties to Jim Jones.
Bundles was gunned down near the lobby of his Far Rockaway apartment building on June 11, 2007 around the time of 6 a.m.
According to NY Daily News, they share the similarities of being up-and-coming rappers, drivers of Porsches, both were tied to bigger rappers (Chinx was tied to French Montana) and both were murdered after a show.
“They were friends, Stack Bundles and Chinx. They were friends, so we’re looking at all hip-hop angles,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said on Tuesday.
