Authorities tested Edwards’ blood alcohol level after he was pulled over in the early morning of May 4 and it was more than .20, which is twice above the legal limit.
This isn’t the first time Edwards has been slapped with a DUI. In 2010, he was arrested for driving under the influence in New York City. He blew at .16, which is less than his latest incident, but still above the influence.
TMZ says the reached out to the former wide receiver who played for the Browns, Jets and 49ers for a comment, but so far he hasn’t responded.
