*Tonight’s season finale of “Scandal” finds Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her team trying to take down Command, Papa Pope (Joe Morton) having a little powwow with Mellie, and Mellie (Bellamy Young) either winning or losing her bid to rep Virginia in the U.S. Senate.
The cast promoted tonight’s episode at a red carpet “For Your Consideration Event” earlier this month at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles.
“I can tell you it’s real old school, ‘Scandal’-style, shockeriffic,” Washington said of the finale. “It’s pretty amazing. I can’t say more than that without getting in trouble.”
