Manny Pacquiao Gets Served with Class Action Lawsuit

manny pacquiao*He may have walked away from the so-called Fight of the Century, but Manny Pacquiao is still feeling the aftermath of the big event with legal action from those who feel he cheated them.

TMZ Sports reports that Pacquiao and his fight promoters have been hit with a class action lawsuit from Stephane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran under claims that Pacquiao screwed boxing fans, gamblers and those who bought the fight on pay-per-view by not revealing his shoulder injury before taking on Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Vanel and Rahbaran’s suit, which was filed in federal court in Nevada, is being done “on behalf of all persons who purchased tickets; purchased the pay-per-view event; or who wagered money on the event.”

In addition to Pacquiao, Vanel and Rahbaran’s are suing Pacquiao, Bob Arum, Top Rank Boxing and others for consumer fraud.

As a result, they are demanding at least $5 million in damages.

As Pacquiao stands in the middle of a legal situation from those feeling he did them wrong, there’s at least one person who feels he did beat Mayweather.
