*Mariah Carey shares her Frito Pie recipe and reveals the true meaning behind the lyrics to her new single, “Infinity.”
On this episode of Funny or Dies ‘Cooking with Mariah Carey,’ Bryan and Mariah make Frito Pie. The dish doesn’t look fit to eat. Its made of junk food and lettuce with whip cream and vinegar.
The Frito dish also includes M&Ms, plain Fritos, hot Fritos and other unlikely combined convenience store treats.
A hair technician brushes Mariah’s mane, while with surgically gloved hands and a diamond butterfly ring on top of the blue latex, Mariah is smashing the contents of the frito dish. Why are they using latex gloves to make the dish. “Really, because it’s a dirty job,” Bryan says.
According to Bryan people had a burning question to ask Mariah about her “Infintiy” lyrics that said boy you acted so corny like Fritos. To that Mariah told him that she had an italian lover named Frito years ago and he stole her car.
“He was kind of a jerk. But you always want to gravitate towards those guys, I don’t know what it is about them,” Mariah said.
But really, when Bryan asked her if there are ever any subliminal messages in her songs, Mariah said she doesn’t like to get too specific. This way people who are listening to the song can decide what it means for them .
When movie director, Brett Radner shows to taste test, he sticks his bare hands in and grabs a hand full of the pie, stuffs it in his mouth and then spits it out.
Finally, when a man who Mariah calls Frito (her ex from Itally) show’s Bryan smashes the ill concocted pie in his face, then he ushers him out and tells him there is only one co-host for this show, go back to Italy.
