Again, they don’t call him “money” for nothing. And oh yeah, Mike Tyson, he didn’t fight like a “scared, little man.” 🙂 Yep, Floyd “Money” Mayweather has done it again. Saturday night in Las Vegas he beat Manny Pacquiao by unanimous decision to go 48 and 0 in his professional career.
“I knew he was going to push me,” Mayweather said about Pacquiao. “I was a smart fighter. I out-boxed him.”
Meanwhile, Mayweather says he’s going to fight one more time, in September, to go for win number 49 and then retire. And no, based on the way he looked against Pacquiao, it doesn’t appear a rematch would be a good idea. Speaking of Pacquiao, in the post-fight interview, he actually said he thought he won the fight. Hmm, maybe Mayweather hit him upside the head more times than we thought. Talk about being delusional.
“I got him many times,”Pacquiao said. “I thought I won the fight.”
No Pacman, no you didn’t. You thought wrong. Money Mayweather won the fight. And you can take that to the bank.
