*The 2003 film “Masked and Anonymous,” an obscure indie project written by and starring the notoriously-reclusive folk legend Bob Dylan, featured an all-star cast in a story that skewered politics, government conspiracies and questioned the role of God in a seemingly increasingly volatile world.

The cast included Hollywood heavyweights Angela Bassett, John Goodman, Jeff Bridges, Penélope Cruz, Val Kilmer, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Lange, Luke Wilson, Bruce Dern, Cheech Marin, Ed Harris, Chris Penn, Steven Bauer, Giovanni Ribisi, Michael Paul Chan, Christian Slater, Fred Ward…and Tinashe.

The current R&B and pop star was a 10-year-old aspiring singer when she was cast in the film as “Mrs. Brown’s Daughter.” Her character sings one of Dylan’s biggest hits, “The Times They Are a-Changin,” directly to the man himself. As FACT reports, she was listed in the credits under her full name Tinashe Kachingwe.

Goodman’s character introduces the future “2 On” singer in the clip below.
