*Raven-Symone returns to “black-ish” this week in a Mother’s Day episode that gives new meaning to the question, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?”

Although she hasn’t officially come out, everybody in the family knows that Dre’s sister Rhonda (Raven-Symone) is gay – except for their mother Ruby (Jenifer Lewis). The siblings are uncomfortable broaching the subject of her sexuality, and are happy to just dance around it, preferring instead to engage in their ongoing battle for position in Ruby’s rankings that are released every December.

In Wednesday’s episode – titled “Please Don’t Ask, Please Don’t Tell,” Rhonda is back in town for Mother’s Day, and Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) thinks Dre should finally open up and tell his sister that everyone knows…and it’s okay.

Meanwhile, Zoey tries to help Junior have better “gaydar,” and Diane and Jack compete to see who will have the better Mother’s Day gift.

“black-ish” airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.

Below, Ross reveals what drew her to the role of Rainbow.
