It is well known for its news coverage, drama, programs and documentaries around the globe. Positives Negatives conducted interviews around crack cocaine addiction in the small West African state of Guinea-Bissau.

Benjamin Dix wrote the script which was illustrated by Comic Artist and EURweb associate contributor TAYO Fatunla.

‘Hooked’ gives an account of crack cocaine addiction in Guinea-Bissau that centres on the character Buba, a young man growing up in the neighbourhoods of Bissau city. The piece was produced in collaboration with the BBC Focus on Africa for BBC Africa News and was made part of a five day serialisation online.

EURweb informed about the online comic and now you can watch all five HOOKED episodes illustrated by TAYO Fatunla on YouTube and once again produced digitally by BBC Focus on Africa. Background music for episodes, is Akon’s “Ghetto” from his debut studio album.
