*Legendary Film Producer/Director Bill Duke joins the anticipated docu-series “Are We Famous Yet???” Mr. Duke is the Co-Executive Producer and Co-Director of the series, alongside up-and-coming young director Antonio T.D. Faison, who also stars in the docu-series.
“Are We Famous Yet” is the true-life story of four guys (Ryan Singleton, Antonio T.D. Faison, Jared Davis and Lance Cospy), with dreams of living lives like the cast of HBO’s “Entourage,” buy a camera and stumble their way into starting a film production company in Brooklyn.
They pack up the dog and Uhaul van and move to Hollywood, hoping to become big time film producers.
After immediate success in Hollywood, the guys join forces with a film crew of misfits, and they attempt to raise money to produce a romantic comedy that they’ve written titled “Our Guy.”
The guys land their first major motion picture, but in an instant their lives are turned into a real horror movie, when one of the four guys (Ryan) is brutally murdered. The remaining team members seek answers surrounding his death and fight to keep their American Dream alive. Mr. Duke will direct the final three episodes in the docu-series this summer.
