*Lil Wayne has made another headline-making announcement from the stage.
During his Anaheim, Calif. stop on Wednesday (June 17), the rapper confirmed July 4th as the release date of his upcoming album, “Free Weezy.”
This follows last weekend’s somewhat misleading announcement that he’d “signed with Jay Z.” Fans thought he was referring to Roc A Fella as an artist, but Lil Wayne was referring to his partnership with Hov’s streaming music service Tidal.
