*With 1.43 million viewers, the 9 p.m. Season 2 debut of “Power” on Saturday became the most watched Starz Original Series season premiere in the channel’s history.
The previous title-holder was the launch of “Spartacus: Vengeance” on Jan. 27, 2013, which drew 1.39 million.
The network also announced Tuesday that “Power’s” first episode of Season 2 was up 209% from what its Season 1 debut drew on June 7 last year. Also, the opener was up 32% from what the first season’s finale pulled on August 2, 2014.
When you count all of “Power’s” airings this weekend, the show brought in 3.62 million viewers, which collectively is up 79% from what Season 1’s premiere weekend.
