*Rick Ross and his bodyguard Nadrian James were arrested this morning (June 24) at Ross’ home in Fayette County, Ga. – both charged with aggravated battery and kidnapping, and Ross was hit with an additional charge of aggravated assault.

Ross was denied bail this afternoon and will remain held at the Fayette County Jail until his next court hearing on July 1, according to TMZ.

Citing legal docs, TMZ reports that Ross argued with his groundskeeper at the Georgia home he purchased from Evander Holyfield. According to law enforcement, Ross forced the groundskeeper into the guesthouse bedroom at gunpoint and starting grilling him about something.

Cops say when Ross didn’t get the answers he wanted, he pistol-whipped the man twice with a Glock 9mm pistol, messing up his jaw and neck and chipping two teeth. The groundskeeper was hurt badly enough that he couldn’t use his jaw and is now on a liquid diet, according to TMZ.

Ross took a Glock 9MM pistol and then viciously pistol-whipped one of his workers so badly, he messed up his jaw and neck … so claim the cops who arrested him.

Both Ross, 39, born Williams Roberts, and James, 42, were arrested without incident. According to a press release from the Fayette County Sheriff’s office, the matter is still under investigation.

This is the second time this month Ross has had a brush with the law in the Atlanta area. On June 10, he was arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession and jailed in Atlanta. He was arrested in 2008 and again in 2011 on pot-related charges as well.
