*Warren Sapp’s troubles continue as he catches domestic violence charges for allegedly biting and stomping his girlfriend’s head.
Official documents obtained by TMZ Sports reveal that Sapp was charged with three counts of domestic violence from an incident that occurred April 28 at the M Resort in Las Vegas. The couple was arguing, according to the police report which mentioned that Sapp allegedly threw a margarita in the face of his longtime girlfriend, Chalyce Moore, in their private cabana by the pool. From there, Sapp allegedly grabbed Moore by the arm or purse and violently pulled on her … nearly taking her down to the ground.
The court documents go on to say that Sapp and Moore left the resort together in a car — heading toward Chalyce’s condo. During their trip to the condo, Moore said she got sick of arguing and told Sapp to get out of the car. That didn’t sit well with the former NFL star, who ended up biting Moore’s middle finger. At one point, Sapp got out of the car and asked another driver for a ride,” TMZ noted, adding that the driver denied Sapp’s request.
Eventually, Sapp and Moore got back in the car together and did get to the condo, the court documents stated.
The violence between the couple continued inside the condo as Sapp allegedly threw a belt at Moore, who threw the belt back at him. Their altercation escalated with Moore ending up on the floor. She goes on to claim that while she was down, Sapp stepped on her face while wearing white Jordan sandals.
A point TMZ brought up was that Sapp is approximately 6’2″, 300 lbs. and wears size 15 shoes.
The authorities stated that they went to the M Resort and watched security footage of what happened. As it turned out, the footage backed up Moore’s story and the cops now have the video.
As for how bad Moore ended up, her friend told police that she sustained multiple injuries that included a bruise on her lower lip, abrasions and bruises on her shoulders, bruising on her legs, and a bruise on one of her temples with a checkerboard imprint (presumably from Sapp’s Jordan sandals, which he wore when he got busted in Phoenix for assaulting two prostitutes).
Moore also revealed to investigators that she thinks she suffered a concussion because she had a stiff neck, headache and was vomiting after the incident.
If convicted, Sapp, who faces three counts of battery constituting domestic violence, could face up to 18 months in prison. He’s due to appear in court on July 23.
