*ABC News correspondent Mara Schiavocampo announced on “Good Morning America” Wednesday that she is pregnant with her second child, due in January.
The baby news comes on the heels of ABC News’ chief meteorologist Ginger Zee’s baby announcement late last month.
“I’m expecting a baby. I’m right behind Ginger [Zee],” Schiavocampo said. “We have a daughter who’s 3. This is our second, and we’re thrilled.”
Schiavocampo says her daughter, Nina, wants “a girl one,” but her husband, Tommie Porter, is hoping for a boy.
“Becoming a mom is the best thing that ever happened to me,” Schiavocampo explained. “My husband talked me into the first one — I was on the fence — and she is the light of my life. So now I want 50 kids!! I’m just so excited and thrilled and blessed. Can’t wait to meet the little guy.”
