Lab results revealed Tuesday show McNabb’s blood alcohol level was 0.17 – more than twice the legal limit in Arizona, which is .08. Anything 0.15 or higher qualifies as extreme DUI, reports The AP.

According to police in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert, McNabb’s vehicle rear-ended another vehicle on June 28. No injuries were reported, and McNabb was cited and released from a police facility.

McNabb played 13 years in the NFL after being drafted by Philadelphia with the second overall pick in 1999 out of Syracuse.
