??? Geto Boys’ Scarface Hospitalized Under Mysterious Circumstances

Scarface*Geto Boys fans hoping to catch the legendary group live on tour will have to wait a bit in light of one its members taking a sudden trip to the hospital.

Billboard magazine received confirmation from a rep for the Geto Boys who stated that Brad “Scarface” Jordan was taken to the hospital shortly after the group had finished a recent show in Albuquerque, New Mexico, RollingOut reports. While details surrounding the situation is being guarded by those close to the situation, talk has come up about Jordan’s diagnosis of high blood pressure in 2002 being the reason for his health issues.

Although he didn’t reveal what exactly landed Jordan in the hospital, the entertainer’s fellow Geto Boys member Willie D gave the following update on the rapper’s condition on the group’s Kickstarter page:

“I am not at liberty to speak on his condition, and wouldn’t even if I was, as it is a private matter, but I will say that he is in good spirits, and sends his love to all who have supported him throughout his career, and personal life. Although I’m his bandmate, I’m also a Scarface fan, so I know it’s hard for you guys not having details, but I will try to keep you updated as much as I can without invading his privacy. Thanks and say a prayer for my homey!”

The Geto Boys are using Kickstarter to crowdfund their upcoming album, Habeas Corpus.” As it stands now, the group has raised about $32,000 towards their goal of $100,000 in their campaign, which ends Wednesday (July 15).
